Parking Strategies & Management
The book provides guidance on all aspects of parking. It was commissioned by the Institution of Highways and Transportation. It received financial support from the Department for Transport, the British Parking Association, the County Surveyors' Society, National Car Parks, and the Rees Jeffreys Road Foundation.
The guidance is in three sections:
1. The policy context
2. Objectives, and measures to achieve them
3. Implementation
Contributors included the late Hugh Collis, the late Colin Eastman, Keith Banbury, Peter Bayliss, Keith Gardner, Peter Guest, John Heasman, Sheila Holden, Mike Link, Phil Robinson, Mike Talbot.
Tim Pharoah edited the draft contributions, and Tony Bolden edited the final version.
(Note that my name is misspelt throughout this document: Pharaoh rather than Pharoah)
