Traffic Calming: Principles and Progress 1990-1992
An outline of the benefits of traffic calming, a scenario for traffic calmed towns. The 7 steps towards comprehensive traffic calming are set out. It argues that progress is held back by focusing only on accident reduction rather than changing the role of streets with a wider "town friendly" strategy.
