Victoria station

In 1973 the then Greater London Council produced a draft development brief for the comprehensive redevelopment of Victoria station, including potential major development decked over the rail tracks.

Tim Pharoah, then working for Westminster City Council as researcher on transport aspects of the Westminster City Plan, produced a response to the GLC on behalf of the City. This sought to raise awareness of the issues in relation to rail commuting capacity, and development impacts in the Victoria area.

The (digitised) report can be found on the right.
