South Downs National Park Authority Transport Study
Transport study of the South Downs National Park (SDNP). Phase 1 included the preparation of an evidence base to inform the preparation of the SDNP local plan and management plan. As well as the overarching objectives of the SDNPA to promote and protect the Park, there is a firm commitment to encouraging more sustainable travel to and within the Park. Phase 2 of the study looked more specifically at access to the park by bus. It included a vision for a high quality core bus route network (see map).
The draft Local Plan for the Park was published in September 2017.
