Hillingdon transport interchanges advice
The objective of the project was to identify a series of strategic design
principles to guide the development of design proposals for transport
interchanges in the borough of Hillingdon. It would also help in the development of criteria for deciding planning applications for developments in the vicinity of transport interchanges.
It involved:
? Strategic level consideration of the characteristics of the authority?s principal transport interchanges.
? Development of strategic design guidance and principles.
? Consideration of specific issues such as density, the integration of mixed use development, accessibility and the public realm.
